Taking my Utah class soon and am thinking I want to get Pennsylvania as well. Whereis the best place to apply now that Sheriff Nau is retired?

they asked for a carry license ... new york state only has a few types of licenses and target hunting is not one of them , it is a county restriction ---call first , i got the penn license a while back had no issues

No Sir shouldn't be. My Suffolk County license has the same endorsement and they were more than happy to process my application at the of 2014 Takes about 15-20 minutes for the entire process. Former Centre County Sheriff Denny Nau retired at the end of 2015 however his successor Sheriff Bryan Sampsel has stated he will continue to honor NY licenses as good to go. I believe on the other forum a member did report acquiring his Centre County non resident license in 2016.

Thanks again. Yeah I'm aware that I have a NY carry license with administrative restrictions set by the county. Just wanted to make sure the good folks in PA are familiar with the nuances of our licenses.

Center county still GTG. was there Friday just before closing. The nice ladies still took all info they needed and mailed out after processing on Monday. Got license in mail today.
