Sounds fantastic and priceless time with your son. Enjoy every moment. Hope you're bringing a few of your CZs.

      Nice.

There's a place between Badlands Nat'l Park and Wall where there's literally 1000's of them. Here's some cell phone pics of the photo album shots.

If they’re anything like a nuisance of woodchucks upstate, where I twisted my ankle numerous times in those goddamn holes, when I had a second home up there, blast away.

Badlands obscured.jpgAmazing country. One of my favorite travel memories ever.
            Enjoy yourselves.
            Prairie dogs are WAY plentiful.
The best road on the planet for riding is Iron Mountain Road, coming into Custer.
Sorry for the gratuitous pic - I couldn't help myself.

When I was kid upstate my uncle had a farm and he would shoot wood chucks with a Remington 700 in 243 out to 200 yards. He would shoot then look at my brother and me and say did I get it if we said yes we had to run out and get them so we started saying you missed he would get pissed go back too the house shoot a couple targets and say must of pulled it.

Prairie dogs are just treeless tree rats of the plains.
                      Blast em.

Thanks. He wanted to come with me last year but couldn’t get the time off work. Ironically as much as I love my CZ’s, none made the trip. But we are very well armed for prairie dog Armageddon. 2 - AR’s, 2 - bolt .223’s, 2 - .243’s and 2 - 6.5CM’s and shit ton of ammo.
