    Clothing?

Any place on the island recommended for picking up hunting camo's?

Not looking to spend $200+ for just a jacket.

I have a lot of warm stuff from fishing already. Just not Hunter cameo.

I am not armed out of fear of who's in front of me.
I am armed out of love of those behind me.

Anyone who says money doesn't matter to them is either a FOOL or a LIAR or BOTH!

Is this for deer? Buy whatever you want. If you want cheap camo … find a military surplus store. Are there any of those left?

Deer don't see color, but turkeys got great peepers. Buy for turkey hunting and you're GTG. All you really need is a quiet camo shell jacket. Layer under it.

Soon, you'll have a closet of hunting clothes.

And not that it's really in your budget, but don't buy Under Armour. As soon as my boots wear out, my UA Brow Tines will be replaced with boots made by a company that actually supports their hunting field staff.

Regarding boots… obviously fit is the most important. Gore-tex is second and insulation third.
Irish Setter is very reasonable. Danner depends on whether it's made in USA (though I've lived comfortably in some of their imports).
Sometimes it just takes upgrading the insoles with aftermarket ones to turn a half-assed fit into being your favorite boots.

I have a pair of Sorel boots with a removable liner. Rated to -30, waterproof, and have great traction. The best part is at night you pull the liner out and it dries in an hour or two. Warm and dry feet are important. If your feet are wet, your feet are cold.

whatever you get spray it with permethrin and let it dry. Last for a few weeks. I do this on all my outer layers and yes, including Fall.

I get 30% veterinary permethrin on Amazon.

Make the drive to gander mountain. They should have a ton of stuff on sale. You won't be disappointed.

Remember camo is to stay out of view of people not the deer, pay close attention to your silouette and where you cast it. wind in your face. Seriously, just go to walmart pick up a pair of camo pants and a long sleeved camo shirt will cost you under $100, take those clothes and either put them in a rubbermaid container with leaves and dirt or wash them with oderless soap, pray them with permetherin, and buy yourself a BUG suit that will cost you $100 but it is more than worth it. I see your trying to do this on the cheap, if you like hunting, you will soon find out that hunting is anything but cheap LOL Do you plan on climbing or sitting in a blind?
