There is no doubt in my mind that there are links to these particular crimes but do people say to themselves after seeing a Walmart shot up, “damn that’s a good idea??”

I mean where are these assholes heads at? It’s not normal and can not fathom that thought process??

They do it on purpose. The more these crimes are committed the more fuel they have for banning and eventual confiscation which is their ultimate goal. You can't run a socialist country with the people having the power to descent. Total power over the hapless sheep is after all their ultimate goal.

Inevitably it's the extremely flawed laws the left puts in place that enable these things to happen. We can start in recent memory with the parkland shooter. If it wasn't for the incredibly stupid mandate that high schoolers don't get prosecuted by the law and instead be dealt school punishment that little scumbag never would have been able to buy a firearm legally if he had the arrest record he deserved. And so it goes, and so it goes an endless progression of violence enabled by the left but blamed on guns.

With all that's going on, anyone on our side claiming to be pro 2A, free state or not, is doing us all a huge disservice if they are gearing up with a vest/carrier and rifle and walking into a business or entrance area there of.

I don't care if I'm in NY, PA, or FL, if I see someone suited up and carrying an AR into a store, I'm drawing down on them and holding them at gun point until local LEO's arrive.

What under the sun gives you the right to draw on and hold captive someone who may legally be exercising his or her rights and liberties where open carry of firearms, including long guns, may be legal. Who in hell made you supreme Clintonista? The disgusting liberal mindset of you trying to squash what someone else may be doing legally is pathetic. It is the typical leftist set of ideals in that you do not care that what you you are doing may well violate someone else's rights so long as you are in control.

How many times have you screamed fire in a crowded movie theater? Perfectly legal under the 1st amendment.

It's perfectly reasonable to think that someone in full gear, carrying a rifle into a store, is not there to shop and up to no good.

Agreed, seems to me we need a pro 2A conservative news media outlet owned and/or controlled by a true 2A Patriot. Too bad no pro 2A company or person is rich enough to pull that off. The commercial time would be dominated by firearm, knives, parts mfr, hunting outfitters, gear mfr and the like. Libs would go nuts, i would pay for that channel

Technically only legal if there really is a fire. If not.......

And if you saw someone with a pistol in their belt under their shirt or jacket would you presume they are not a CCW?

I am not armed out of fear of who's in front of me.
I am armed out of love of those behind me.

It may be reasonable to think that but there were more reasonable ways to check it out than to pull on the guy and arrest him. Observe and report to police and wait for them; if he makes a move where it appear harm is imminent to you or another ONLY THEN would you likely be within your rights to draw on him and either arrest or shoot him. Look at all those nut cases in the coffee shop that time. Had you walked in on that would would you have held them at gun point - they did nothing illegal. What about the guys walking down the streets, a few different incidents which were seen in videos on YouTube, with ARs trying to get a rise out of the public and or the cops - would you arrest them too at gun point. Hell, the cops did not arrest them or draw on them. J

I believe the guy was likely there to cause trouble but that is my gut feeling. Based on what the media wrote up for all we know he may merely have been a super asshole. A being an asshole, even an armed asshole, does not justify you holding him at gunpoint and making a citizen's arrest. I would like to think have handled it differently. Then again, maybe the fireman had just cause that was not reported by the mud slinging media.
