CINCINNATI (WKRC) - Cheviot police are investigating an aggravated robbery from Friday night at the Harrison Food Mart.
A black male in his late 20's, who was wearing a grey hoodie, surgical gloves and a mask, entered the store armed with a handgun and held the clerk at gunpoint.
The clerk was a licensed concealed carry permit holder and was able to defend himself by firing his weapon at the suspect.
The suspect was struck by a bullet fired by the clerk's weapon and fled. He was picked up by police and taken to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center.
The identity of the suspect has not been released.
