    H.R. 38

The Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act of 2017 for those playing along at home.

I've subscribed to this bill so I get email updates on it. As of today there are 147 co-sponsores (6 from NY). It is currently in the house judiciary subcommittee on crime, terrorism, homeland security and investigations. It's been there since Jan. 12th. So far there have been no amendments to the bill.

This is one of three bills Lee Zeldin said to look for and help support.

Another co-sponsor signed on yesterday. Not surprisingly from Texas. Brings the number up to 147. Not sure how the process works exactly from here. It's been a while since I've watched Schoolhouse Rock on Saturday mornings while watching cartoons. I'm just a Bill on Capital Hill.

Nod. I've been eye-balling HR38 a couple of times a week since mid jan..... watching the co-sponsors climb. Frankly though, while a small part of me says "Yay, another co-sponsor", I suspect this has little relevance as to the likelihood of success.... I'll keep watching, and hoping.

I'm also eyeballing HR367 - the Hearing Protection Act, 82 co-sponsors currently. Not too shabby.

                  6 from New york? Wow.
Is Peter King one of them?
