    Gun Documentary Selectively Edited

    The recent docu, I mean propaganda piece by Katie Couric has, well, some splainin to do. http://freebeacon.com/issues/audio-s...gun-activists/

    "The makers of a new Katie Couric documentary on gun violence deceptively edited an interview between Couric and a group of gun rights activists in an apparent attempt to embarrass the activists, an audio recording of the full interview shows...."

    par for the course. Where else do you think they get the stats that 150% of gun owners support registration?

      It is unbelievable that they got caught, but it's astonishing that they will not even issue an apology. The director's statement pretty much said "Hey. We're allowed to edit things."

        The left, particular the anti gun "moms" have no senses of shame, honor, decency, or fair play. They assume the worst intentions on those they hate, and use that to justify whatever crime they find convenient. Thats why these people in the long run are so fucking dangerous. They'll eventually shove you off a cliff if it is in support of some utopian ideal.

          "Documentary"? Not even close...Just another pile of propaganda. This one belongs up there with the Sheriff that deliberately missed with an AK style rifle to show that rifles banned as "assault Weapons" were more dangerous than those not banned
          Take a young person shooting.... Take 2 or more if you can...

          And there is the issue: Don't let logic and facts get in the way of a "rational discussion"...
          Take a young person shooting.... Take 2 or more if you can...

              The filmmaker claims that the 9 seconds of silence were for "the viewer to reflect on the question." Nah, it was simply to make the pro 2A advocates look like idiots, as she had just asked "If there were no background checks, what would keep a felon from walking into a gun store and just buying a gun?" She wanted them to appear "speechless," and make it look as if they had no answer to the question. The camera just pans to blank stares, but that didn't happen then. It was edited in from well before in the interview!!! So, it is all an Anti 2A hit piece! I doubt anyone expected it to be fair from Couric anyway!

                and yet the pro gun, pro 2A, and NRA don't come out with their own documentary. I can't understand why when we are hit that we don't hit back 10 times harder.
                Just Another Reason For Me To Retire in Tennessee.

                  Nobody should ever have to go through that senseless loss, but what about the ASSHAT parent's of the friend that left a loaded firearm unsecured? What about the Eddie Eagle safety classes for kids? If anybody cared about keeping those kids safe, shouldn't they have been taught to not touch an unsecured firearm, and get an adult? Nobody wants to talk about the failures by idiots that caused it. Just squeeze the legit, law abiding citizens some more. Turn that tragedy into an anti 2A hit piece. What a sad, divided country we live in. Let's not fix stupid. Let's punish those that follow the rules...

                    The sheep are conditioned to only hear other sheep.
                    They don't listen to the wolf and hence, end up as wolf feces when the SHTF.

                      You are correct sir!! But not only do we need to hit back much harder, we also need to be proactive and strike first. Beating the bully to the punch is a tried and true method!
