    SCOTUS Decision Against Gun Owners

I can't find a link but Tom Sullivan is talking about a SCOTUS decision dropped today. A misdemeanor domestic dispute charge IS sufficient to strip a citizen of his or her 2A rights.

Poor Anthony Cumia. He pled guilty to two misdemeanors so does that mean he needs a new hobby?

Sonia sided with Clarence! Amazing. We just need HC to replace Scalia, and then get maybe two more. For those of you that are anti-Trump, do you really want to see a National Safe Act? I do not like, nor trust him, buy she will end the 2A.

The party is not split. Trump has gotten more votes than anyone else running in a republican primary in history. You are talking about a few sore losers.

Most who are anti-trump, rather than pro-Hillary, just want to see a more electable republican go against her, not see her get it.

I completely agree, but even on this forum, while I respect everyone's opinion, and their right to an opinion, there is a lot of never Trump sentiment. There are people here, where if anyone in the world should understand what is at stake is pro 2A hobbyists, etc. If there are people here, on a firearms forum, saying that "anyone but her" is not a good enough reason to support Trump, I am really worried about the low info people that don't even understand the difference between a semi and fully auto, etc., will pull the lever.

Trump can be pretty polarizing. But again, people turned out to vote for him in record numbers in the primary, including lots of erstwhile democrats and independents who finally realized that both parties have been united in screwing over the middle class for so long that they were desperate for an alternative.

Polarizing for sure. I found him somewhat entertaining on TV, but didn't hate him, but some of the dumb things he has said are really troublesome. If you have any understanding of the Constitution, you would know you cannot "ban all Muslims." You could certainly ban all immigrants from specific countries, terrorist hot spots, etc. I just hope you are right. He needs to stop the unforced errors, and stop giving HC more ammunition to keep playing the gender card, the racist card, etc. Yes, his brash demeanor knocked out the establishment in the primaries, but he needs to mend fences with the centrists to win the general election. He has time, but the clock is ticking.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, the GOP in Congress will be unable to oppose a "GOP" President. Can't and won't happen. They will be able to oppose Clinton, mitigating the damage she will do. Trump has always been a liberal Democrat and nothing he's actually said (other than the list of possible SCOTUS justices that he kinda sorta might appoint) or done has indicated that he's anything other than a liberal Democrat now. He keeps advocating the use of Executive Orders, just like Barry the Brave. He's suppported gun control in the past and given last weeks meeting with the NRA I don't believe for a minute that he's really changed his position on that.

What's worse, it looks like Trump won't have coattails bringing more GOP seats to Congress. In fact, it looks like he will cause the GOP to lose seats. Net net, things can very well be worse under Trump than under Clinton. So which is worse, a liberal Democrat opposed by Congress or a liberal Democrat unopposed by Congress?

I may have to hold my nose and close my eyes and vote for the lesser of two evils though I swore to myself I'd never do that again, but don't for a minute delude yourself into thinking that you are doing anything good for this nation or even gun owners by voting for Trump.
