Tennessee law now dictates that businesses wishing to create a "gun-free zone" will be held liable for the safety of concealed carry permit holders.

The new law, SB 1736, dictates that should any concealed carry permit holder's safety be threatened after disarming themselves to enter their place of business, then the business will be held liable.

They can't go through your pockets without consent and they can't tell you not to share your opinions with your friends...why should 2A be different. +1 to the great state of Tennessee.

                    Makes total sense to me.

You go into an establishment and you expect them to have your back as far as fire protection, cleanliness, food quality/safety etc. You have no control over those things so you need to rely on the business to be ready and able and actively doing these things.

Same with your safety if they don't allow you to provide your own.
I am not armed out of fear of who's in front of me.
I am armed out of love of those behind me.

That law should be a national .... Lets see how many liberals would place feel good No Guns Allowed signs in their windows if the had to take on the moral , legal and financial burden of denying other citizens of their Constitutional rights .

That awkward moment when the Governor wants businesses to be liable for creating gun free zones, but won't make the entire capitol grounds open to carriers.
