During an August 19 campaign stop in North Carolina, Donald Trump shot an M4 rifle with Iredell County Sheriff Darren Campbell.

According to the Associated Press, Trump shot the rifle after “[stopping] by the gun range of the local Fraternal Order of Police lodge in Iredell County before a scheduled meeting at the lodge with law enforcement officers.” Afterward, Sheriff Campbell said, “This man can shoot.”

During a July 2015 interview with Ammoland, Trump was asked about Democrat and media-led efforts to ban “assault rifles,” especially AR-15s. He stated that he opposed such bans and suggested Democrat and media personalities are fixated on the rifle simply because it is one of America’s favorite guns. He said:
You mention that the media describes the AR-15 as an “assault rifle,” which is one example of the many distortions they use to sell their agenda. However, the AR-15 does not fall under this category. Gun-banners are unfortunately preoccupied with the AR-15, magazine capacity, grips, and other aesthetics, precisely because of its popularity.
Breitbart News previously reportedthat Trump is a Lifetime member of the NRA and concealed permit holder. On April 11, 2015, Trump told Breitbart Newsthat the Second Amendment must be maintained “in its strongest form.”

Except for when he was all for them including tweeting his support following Newtown. I swear he feeds conservatives bullshit just to see how much hypocrisy they're willing to stomach in the face of a Clinton Presidency. Given the lack of outcry over his reversal on illegal immigrants, and bans on Muslims, it looks like quite a bit.

100%. Unless during the final 2.5 months Trump displays a greater understanding of the complexities of foreign policy, seems less likely to launch a nuclear warhead just because we have them, and just raises the overall intelligence of his campaign's message.

It's hypocritical because people love to slam Hillary as a flip-flopper or someone who chooses positions based on political convenience yet have no issue with Trump doing it in a timeframe so small it can be tracked by the hour.

                Your with her ➡️
I really never thought she was a flip flopper, she exhibits traitorous and treasonous acts with reckless abandon.

I am not armed out of fear of who's in front of me.
I am armed out of love of those behind me.

Anyone who says money doesn't matter to them is either a FOOL or a LIAR or BOTH!

I consider her more of an out and out treasonous liar than a flip flopper.

Any gun owner that votes for her is full of shit regarding the Second Amendment. Did your shop steward give out the voting instructions?

Dont forget this glaring display of ignorance: Trump Asks, ‘If We Have [Nuclear Weapons], Why Can’t We Use Them?’

During a foreign policy briefing several months ago, Trump asked three times in an hour, "If we have them, why can't we use them?"
a foreign policy expert was trying to advise Trump and three times in a one-hour briefing, Trump asked, speaking of nuclear weapons, “If we have them why can’t we use them?”

When you take out the picture and the clip and the ads, I'd say the "writer" got at least a full page of alarmist propaganda out of an unsubstantiated anecdotal claim made by one of the people who were supposed to be interviewing a guest on MSNBC. Guess the General didn't melt down enough to fill the segment and the producer was making stretching gestures off camera. Looks like you found a use for it though. Good on you. ::snicker::

I've always hated Meat Loaf, except for Paradise by the Dashboard Light, but only the Phil Rizzuto part.

I love my wife's meatloaf. It would be my last meal.
