New Anti-Gun Movie Shows Women Refusing To Have Sex with Men Until They Give Up Their Firearms
Anti-gun propaganda is marketed as a sex comedy. Does that seem a bit off to you? I mean it also sounds like a total disaster that only got the green light from the studio because Hollywood is unapologetically left wing. Producer Harvey Weinstein vowed to make an anti-gun film targeting the National Rifle Association with Meryl Streep in 2014, but nothing has come of that project. So, I guess “Is That A Gun In Your Pocket” will have to do.
Starring David Denman (Roy from The Office), John Heard (Home Alone), Cloris Leachman, and Horatio Sanz (formerly of SNL), and some other people, the film is described as such by the Internet Movie Database:
This film has a trifecta of idiocy a) only men like and own guns; b) men only think about sex (though women think about it just as much); and c) let’s set this in Texas because they have open carry now, even though the vast majority of states already had it long before the Lone Star State decided to join. Also…it’s Texas—a conservative bastion that must be ridiculed, says the Hollywood liberal.
Regardless, I’ll probably watch this movie once it’s available on Netflix just to see if it’s just as bad as the trailer. It comes out in September, and it’s going to be terrible.

If there's one thing that the men of Rockford Texas love as much as their women, it's their guns. Okay—so I take it that everyone involved in the making of this film forgot that women were responsible for the massive spike in concealed carry permits (they’re obtaining them twice the rate of men), or how they’re the fastest growing demographic of new gun owners. Second Amendment rights aren’t just for white men; they’re for every American. You can certainly choose not to participate, just like how very few Americans exercise their right to a lawful assembly—though that low participation doesn’t mean that's cause for curtailment or outright repeal.
