August In Gun-Controlled Chicago: 472 Shot, 90 Killed

The fatalities from August raised the city’s year-to-date homicide total to 468.

According to ABC News, this puts Chicago on track to tie–if not surpass–some high water marks for murder that the city hoped it would never see again. For example, the homicide rate “topped 600 in 2003”–a high point which is easily within reach this year. And the 513 killed in 2008 are almost certainly to be eclipsed by the end of 2016.

When compared to this same time last year, “murders so far in 2016 have shot up by 49 percent while shooting incidents have increased by 48 percent.” That is a roughly fifty percent jump for both.

Last weekend alone NBC 5 reported 10 people were killed and “at least” 57 more were shot and wounded in gun-controlled Chicago. Dozens were shot the weekend before that, including four fatalities. ABC News reported that a 7-year-old girl and a 36-year-old woman were among the dozens shot–bullets struck them as they attended a vigil for someone who had been shot and killed earlier.

And Breitbart News reported that 52 individuals were shot and nine killed during the weekend of August 12-15,

The Chicago Tribune lists the number of shooting victims in Chicago year-to-date at 2,829. There were 2,988 shooting victims for the whole of 2015.

The Chicago police have a list of 1400 potential shooters/victims, all presumably gang members, all recidivists. The NY Times proved that Chicago doesn't have a gun problem, it has a Bad People problem.
Referring to that list over a summer weekend, the NY Time reported:

"Police officials say most shootings involve a relatively small group of people with the worst ratings on the list. The police and social service workers have been going to some of their homes to warn that the authorities are watching them and offer job training and educational assistance as a way out of gangs.

Of the 64 people shot over the weekend, 50 of them, or 78 percent, are included on the department’s list.

At least seven of the people shot over the weekend have been shot before. For one man, only 23 years old, it is his third time being shot."

              >>>>>>>>>>>>>>

The other victims are the innocent bystanders. You can bet most shooters where on the list as well. If we can predict the names of the people that are going to be shot, clearly we don't have a gun problem. Guns can't read the list. The people who got shot and the people doing the shooting are the same criminal actors that get locked up every day. What do you say we register gangbangers instead of guns?

Just playing with the numbers/population/per capita; that's about the equivalent of 1482 shot and 282 murdered in NYC in August. (NYC has about ~400 murders a year in recent years)

That's about 47 people shot and 9 murdered EACH DAY in NYC. Even in the late 80's/early 90's NYC didn't see anything like that.

To expand on that... suppose we kept the criminals in jail but let them bring their guns with them.. Then remove the guards and stock the place with ammo and let nature run its course.
