June 28th primaries

Apparently the is an election next week, (the federal primaries). I got a pamphlet in the mail from Joh Kaiman and Steve stern with a bunch of gun ban promises all over it. I figured I'd startup a thread about it in case anyone (like myself) was unaware. I don't have a whole lot of time to research this right now as I'm running out to work soon. Does anyone have more information about this?

Yes, its a primary for Steve Israels old seat. You need to be a Dem to vote in it. I've read all the literature and they are all a bunch of scum, with one notable exception: some guy named Jonathan Clarke calls himself a progressive yet to date none of his literature mentioned gun control, while all the other commies touted their gun hate at every opportunity. So, if you're a Dem in that District, vote Clarke for no other reason.

Thursdays Newsday had a run down on all the Dem primary candidates and Clarke indicated he is a Bernie Sanders supporter. Sanders had at least recognized the right to a gun as an individual right of citizenship, so I'll assume Clarke at least supports private gun ownership ala Sanders.
