Changes nothing at all. Ill write a new email to Kevin Thomas and it will still fall on deaf ears.

Yep. Hannon was a POS, now we got an all out leftist POS
      Gun Control

There is nothing more important than protecting our communities from gun violence. I believe every child should feel safe in his/her classroom, every holiday shopper safe at his/her local mall, every senior safe at his/her community center. The best way to protect District 6 from gun violence is to pass legislation that prevents dangerous individuals from getting their hands on dangerous weapons. New York may have some of the stronger gun control laws in the country, but there is still important work to be done.

I support a bump-stock ban, which would prevent ordinary guns from being transformed into weapons capable of mass murder. I support the passage of the Red Flag Law, which would allow police and family to petition state courts to remove firearms from persons who present a danger to others or themselves. I plan to strengthen the SAFE Act, New York’s landmark gun control legislation, by requiring universal background checks, imposing tougher assault weapon bans, and creating a statewide ammunitions registry.

Mike Montesano just called me after I sent him that email. That’s a first for me. He said he is a certain “no” vote and will do his best to fight it. Since it’s mostly NYC’s idea he’s going to push to keep it a NYC regulation. Dunno how that’s gonna play out.
May least one of my reps has some common sense.

That's a pretty stupid question. Of course not. they are Democrats! They are the righteous Socialists heroes of the state. Cuomo already told us, People like us don't belong here.
              Tag line thanks to @Synner

Choose your social media words carefully.

It only took 69 years for certain radio stations to determine that the lyrics of Baby It's Cold Outside are politically incorrect and caused them to ban the song from their playlist.

Who knew that those posts about Mad Russian's genealogy would get you in trouble one day? Heck, his screen name alone will get him on the naughty list, I was always deeply offended by it. (Not!)

And will "Angry Elf" get me in trouble? It is an inside joke, not meant to be derogatory regarding the physical attributes of any one person or group.

God help us. This is what we were told it was like on the other side of the Iron Curtain; say the wrong thing to the wrong person and suffer the harsh consequences.

I'll write Phil Boyle directly. He'll make sure our rights are protected.

The only reason this won't pass is if the Dems realize the over-reach is so egregious it could place the entire licensing process under constitutional scrutiny (e.g., references, "good moral character", "proper cause", etc.).

But they usually can't help themselves anyway.
No one ever wished they didn't have a gun.

                        Regards,
                        Chris
