    LinkNYC Spy Kiosks Installation Videos - in the attached link.

    The kiosks have two high-definition video cameras recording viewers of digital displays and the surrounding area. A third aperature above the console appears to be a sensor of unknown purpose.
    LinkNYC claims there are 30 sensors in the units which are undefined.
    10,000 of the kiosks are to be installed in New York City over 5 years.

      They are for photo recognition, and if close enough, Iris scans. I will try to find the link to the article where I saw that.

        Only people I see using those things are the homeless. I just associate them with homeless people and do not want to go near the machines

          If I was paranoid...I'd be thinking something along the lines of a stingray.

          Just remember...being paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get you....
          If Sonny had EZ-Pass, he'd have survived that hit...
