Hillary wants 25% Tax on Guns!

I know this article is from April, but Ole' Cankles just made it part of her official platform. This article: http://www.atr.org/full-list-hillary...nned-tax-hikes, is from today, and lists all her tax increases, which account to a Trillion dollars, over ten years, using her campaign's own math. It backlinks to the gun tax, which I used as the main link.
In 1993 Senate testimony Hillary Clinton endorsed a new national 25% retail sales tax on guns. Newly released footage shows her nodding fiercely as gun owners and dealers are described as “purveyors of violence” WASHINGTON, D.C. – In passionate Senate testimony on Sept. 30, 1993, Hillary Clinton endorsed a new national 25% retail sales tax on guns.

It's been tried on the state level in the Left Coast before.
I am not armed out of fear of who's in front of me.
I am armed out of love of those behind me.

Hey hitlery, how about taxing through hefty fines all the convicted murders who used firearms in committing their crimes. No, you wouldn't do that, that makes sense.

Defeated. Don't know who's taken credit for it.

Also keep in mind that, since 1937, every single new gun (and every box of ammo) sold in this country already has had an 11% excise tax applied to it for the Pittman-Robertson tax. Another 25% is completely unreasonable.

Give a man fire, and he stays warm for one night. Set a man on fire, and he stays warm for the rest of his life.

I think I might prefer to see a 25% tax on abortions first. After all they are a Constitutional Right, the right to keep and bear arms is not.
Know your rights/Refuse peacefully to consent to a search /Ask if you are free to go or are being detained/Even if you are not doing anything wrong the 4th Amendment protects you against unreasonable searches/Never say anything to law enforcement even if you think it will help you/If questioned you should clearly and unequivocally request that you would like to have an attorney present and defer any questions until then/Never go to prison because you are afraid to go to jail.

Correct me if I am wrong, but i believe every last cent of that money goes toward pro conservation type stuff. Not that I am in favor of pricier guns, but i think Pittman Robertson is apples and oranges with that dried up old twats proposal.

Yes, you are correct. Pittman Robertson is one of the few taxes I don't mind paying. It pays for us to have access to 600+ million acres of public land. And by federal government standards it is very well run. But it's still a tax. And for this 'dried up old twat' to consider adding a second tax on top of it is absurd.
