It is easy to distrust any of these polls, and the ones that are good for us are easier to get excited about, but Zogby is respected, and if we are close to tied again, as we were when Trump went way off message at a very bad time, this is still winnable. It shouldn't even be close, considering how flawed Cankles is, but it is what it is. I will take any good news as a positive!

But what's the polling in the States that matter? I still don't think we'll get a clear picture until after Labor Day. I don't think we should lose hope, but smart, influential people need to get Trump back on message.

I don't trust the media or the polls at this point, they're all in the tank for Hillary like never before. They also ignore the dynamics and volatility of this election which are pretty unprecedented. Most of the polls for example over sample Democrats based on Obama's numbers but Hillary is not Obama and doesn't motivate voters like he did. She certainly isn't getting the level of crossover votes that Trump is. Very little enthusiasm for her candidacy aside from cat ladies and Washington insiders.

I keep telling her, the people who are voting for Trump/Pence are too busy working & taking care of their families to be taking polls....

The polls absolutely cannot be trusted. Dick Morris, who used to be as close to the Clintons as anyone, but had a falling out, had Romney winning up until Election Day. He was so off they banned him from Fox for years. And as posted above, the media, AND the pollsters all have an agenda. I wouldn't doubt the Dems had it look like Mitt was winning just to try and suppress Repub votes. And the only thing that matters is the swing states, also as posted above. I am just hungry for some good news, especially after the few really bad weeks we had. I also think he did as well as we can hope in his speech last night.

HAH!! I remember watching CNN and Judy Woodruff was practically in tears as the returns came in. She couldn't believe that Bush was going to be reelected. It was like a national tragedy was unfolding in front of her.

I do believe Brexit offers a ray of hope. That one was considered a done deal just days before the election & the result was shocking to the pollsters. Hillary is looking shaky. Who knows? maybe she has a stroke on the eve of the election?
