Please disregard the closures on the calendar for October 8 - October 24th, 3pm x 11pm. Last-minute change in training.

The outdoor will be open 3pm to dusk on those days. Below calendar updated, online and indoor range calendar to be updated ASAP.

Hmmm....not too sure about your math, but...
              Here's the range calendar:
              20181008_123229.jpg

If the only times you can shoot is outside...between 8am and 3pm (usually they're gone by 2:30)...weekdays...in the spring and fall, Freeport R&R is not the place for you.
The yearly fees have gone up only $25 in 20 years, thanks to all of the police agencies that rent it in the spring/fall.

You are correct, my math is off. 15 days out of 31 so 49%.

And then when you add it's only until ~2:30 and dusk is at 7pm.....you're down to about...28%? A bit different than 80%, but I like the way you exaggerate - were you also the kid that bought "magnums", that kept slipping off?

Edit: October 29th - November 2nd is for construction of a 'roof' across the entire range, from the back wall all the way forward to the 3 yd (not 10) line. This is so no projectiles leave our range and we stay open. So...if you exclude these days, there's only 10 half-days....so where are we at now.....15%?

Can't wait to see the new construction. ....although I am starting to get the shakes from going cold turkey from my outdoor range time. The only think that calms me down is going on Gunbroker.

Dan 0351 ... the online calendar shows that the outdoor range is closed all day tomorrow but the picture you posted does not, can you confirm that the picture is correct ? Thanks!!

The outdoor range is open from 8:30 am until sunset (~6:05 pm) tomorrow, unless you're Vitaman who gets there and sets up outside when the lightening bugs start up.

It was originally thought that the ripping down of the berm overhead on Friday was going to take more than a day - but it was done in a few hours so Monday is open.

UNTIL THE NEW ROOF ABOVE THE BERM IS COMPLETED NEXT WEEK, NO STEEL SHOOTING at all. We don't need ricochets leaving the range. THX!

                          Online calendar updated, thanks.
