444 Marlin Help

My 444 Marlin keeps getting stuck while feeding a new round. I have to double pump the lever. The extractor has been changed, so has the ejector, even changed the magazine spring. Its driving me nuts.
Anyone have a solution?

Any dings on the tube? Take the tube out and see if there are burrs on the inside that can cause the follower to hang up. The end of the spring could have scored the tube.

Tube is fine, the rounds get hung up once they feed into the extractor. I wonder if I file down a little on the sharp edge if it will help.

Have you contacted Marlin? If it's a new gun with a warranty let them sort it out.

Its from 1969, Its a great lever gun, just have to double pump it sometimes. I am going to take it down again over the weekend, and file a few of the sharp edges off the extractor. I think thats where the problem is.

Rifle is fixed and cycles smooth once again. The edges of the extractor were too square, causing the cases not to feed smoothly.
