    CGT Gunsmith

I want to swap out the large loop lever on my 92 for a standard lever, I tried to work the screws but they are in hard, the closest guy is CGT, anyone have any experience with thier gunsmith or have a recommendation for a good guy, I don't want the screw heads buggered up.

Is the rifle a Uberti? The screws are notoriously tight and on the soft side. Brownells has screw drivers well suited for them. Replacement screws are nice insurance.

Give CGT a call. It sounds like a straight forward part swap.

It's a Chiappa, if the screws were not set in so hard it would be a 5 minute job but they are just in to hard.

Contact Brownells for the driver set. Tell em what you have.

I thought of that. But how does Kroil react to case hardened finished parts?

Glad to have the standard lever on the gun, the wide loop adds 2 inches to cycle the lever, IMHO it ended up gimmicking get the gun. Bob from Bobsleatherworks.com is sending me a new shorter leather lever wrap to finish the gun. If any of you guys have cowboy rigs check this guys work out.

There are part kits you can buy to shorten that lever cycle.
