        I wouldn't jb weld it. Nothing in the law says it has to be permanent. Only mag conversions have to be. If you do jb it I would out a piece of heavy paper in the hole so when you have to pick out the jb for mag Maintance the screw threads are not filled in. I just used a regular bullet button and swapped out the spring with a brass sleeve and tightened down the screw.

              This mag button will modify your AR15 to no longer accept a detachable magazine and permanently affix an AR15 magazine in place. It works by preventing the button from being depressed once the magazine is inserted into the rifle.


              i have one of these on a complete lower. no money to get an upper for now.

              nicely made and machined and can be taken down for service. or you can epoxy or drill the screw heads for more permanent solution. i find it nicer looking than the CA bullet buttons out there. price is not bad either

              but with anything, at your own risk.
