Chief - I looked at those per your reco, but found them to be in too many segments. I guess if you need a specific area they're good, but I found them to be a bit bulky to search and find what was needed. Just my take, but good to know there are options out there.

True. And the guy has a boring monotone voice. But they serve a purpose and you know it's the correct way and not some yahoo on YouTube.

If I might add. Tap the rear detent hole with a 4/40 tap. Get a set screw. cut the spring the length of the set screw. install and be able to change stocks without worry.

Also. Use a clevis pin to install front pivot detent and spring.

seems I have to learn how to embed.

To embed a YouTube video click on the link icon or the Video icon in the advanced editor and paste the YouTube URL in. The link button will only allow one per post and it looks like below with the title and description. I edited your post to embed the videos. I posted the second one here using the link button.

This is actually the video I used. I also used this website to help http://www.thenewrifleman.com/how-to...ower-receiver/

My one and only problem was the front take down pin. I didnt have a vice to hold the lower, so I used my legs, a eyeglass screw driver, and my trusty snap-on knife to hold the pin and spring in.. did it bounce? yes it did and i flipped shit.. but then I found it and finally got it to work LOL!

And the only way to hit something with a AK is grab it by the barrel and to use it like a club

When installing the front detent Spring, it helps to do it in a clear plastic bag or put a paper bag in front of it for a nice backstop.
