Chief - I looked at those per your reco, but found them to be in too many segments. I guess if you need a specific area they're good, but I found them to be a bit bulky to search and find what was needed. Just my take, but good to know there are options out there.

If I might add. Tap the rear detent hole with a 4/40 tap. Get a set screw. cut the spring the length of the set screw. install and be able to change stocks without worry.
Also. Use a clevis pin to install front pivot detent and spring.

My one and only problem was the front take down pin. I didnt have a vice to hold the lower, so I used my legs, a eyeglass screw driver, and my trusty snap-on knife to hold the pin and spring in.. did it bounce? yes it did and i flipped shit.. but then I found it and finally got it to work LOL!
And the only way to hit something with a AK is grab it by the barrel and to use it like a club
