    PCC 9mm, PSA Glock Bolt

Just a heads up on a possible issue with using Glock 10rd mags and the 10rd follower with a Palmetto State 9mm BCG. Seems that the bolt just grabs the back of the follower and on one mag it destroyed the follower. The other type followers have no issues. You can change these out with no problems.

part # 1812-3 is the replacement Glock follower

A few Questions, What gen mags 3?

when you load the magazine, does it smoothly and easily lock in place or do you have to put some pressure on it?

They go in smooth and they are gen 4's. They also drop out no problem.

I've had this issue too with the DSI lower I had. I had to tune the extractor for the mag. The magpul PMAGs did fine but the Glock 10 rounders got snagged. Tuned them and problem seemed to go away.

On mine I had to tighten the 2 Allen keys that hold the extractor in place. I also had to bend it slightly because the bolt was hitting it and wouldn't close. Also one of my glock mag's goes in and out easy but the other two I have are a little tight. Don't know what generation they are but I bought them all together. I installed a 9 mm buffer with a 308 polished spring and dropped 7 quarters in as a spacer. Still haven't shot it yet and hopefully it will run smooth

Try a few Gen 3 mags, I know this is a dumb question but are all your mags gen 4? I know Gen4 mags are snug in mine

Okay so here's what I did to hopefully correct the problem. I noticed that the ejector was set a little on the high side and would allow a mag to sit high and have both type followers grabbed by the bolt. So I adjusted it down a bit and now the bolt clears both types of followers with out issues. But you can see that the "10 round" follower does sit higher and is closer to getting grabbed by the bolt. This will be remedied when I change them over to the replacements. I have both gen 4s and older gen mags and I really see no difference in fit.

Gen 3 and 4 mags are identical except the gen 4 mags have the notch for the magazine release on both sides because you can move the mag release on the handgun to either side.

There has to be more to it than that, There are many people complaining of a tighter fit in the Glock wells. My gen 4 are much tighter in the well than my Gen 3, However there is no difference with glock handguns, I think when they made the new mold it was a larger tolerance than the gen 3 one

Maybe it was a different mold used, but from what i mentioned above was told to us by the armory at work. I'm still putting my PSA glock lower together. I've accumulated a decent amount of glock and magpul glock pmags. I can't wait to test them out.

The Gen 4 mags will work no problem in a gen 3 gun and vice versa as the mag well tolerances of a Glock are not crucial at all, Its when you use those magazines in an milled lower where it would be noticed, especially when loose tolerances on a 9mm carbine lead to malfunctions (which is the reason the mag blocks are so finicky) Now My experience with the PSA lower is that the Gen 3 magazines drop as they should but the Gen 4 do not that may wear in over time IDK.

So I took my 9 mm glock lower build out for a test run at Brookhaven today . The gun ran perfectly until my 34th round when the rim broke off the cartridge and the rest of the case is now stuck in the chamber. I haven't tried to remove it yet. These were my hand loads using 115 gr Berry's bullets that were all over the place. Next time I'm going to try factory loads in different weights . The mags I have ,have the notch on both sides so I'm assuming theyre gen 4. Like I said one fits fine but the other two are snug and don't drop freely
