Since its my first AR 10 build I kinda wanted to keep everything from the same company to reduce the chance of having issues.

Any knowledge you could share would be greatly appreciated also

It's a good idea to get a complete upper since AR 10 parts are a little finicky. I've seen one DPMS pattern BCG work in one upper and that same BCG doesn't in another DPMS pattern upper. I think it's because there's really no set standard for these things.

Yea, that is what I have heard.

Just spoke with Aero and they said they will have their M5E-1 uppers available before the end of August. Im just gonna go that route for my first go around

once you see the little differences and get an idea on what will work with what, you'll be able to build your second, third, forth, and however many more AR10 uppers you might need. Trying my hand on an 80% this time around. It's definitely not cost effective. just fun to try.

I'm waiting it out also for aero. I have a 308 I built utilizing all different parts the way I wanted. I then did an aero with a buddy and was impressed with the quality.
