I've got one on my AR. Works pretty well. As said by bberetta1, optics are not features. You get in trouble when you put a telescoping stock, muzzle device, pistol grip, 30 round mag, etc. on. Enjoy the rifle. Interested in hearing how you like the red dot.

i had nothing but problems with my strikefire. Eventually sent it back to vortex and told them to get me my $ back
