    Fluting a 10/22 bull barrel

I have a 10/22 bull barrel I would like to flute. Is there anyone local that does it?

It sounds like it might be easier to just buy a barrel.
But if it's a good barrel, you can always send it out.

No, send it to ADCO. I had them do an 18" noveske bbl for me, and it came out PERFECT.

Edit to add: They also do dimpling, which is what I opted for. Personal preference.

What's the cost to flute versus buying a one already done?

I have found prices range for fluting... From 100-140 plus shipping. New fluted barrels go up to 400. I'm confused, more than usual!

Know your rights/Refuse peacefully to consent to a search /Ask if you are free to go or are being detained/Even if you are not doing anything wrong the 4th Amendment protects you against unreasonable searches/Never say anything to law enforcement even if you think it will help you/If questioned you should clearly and unequivocally request that you would like to have an attorney present and defer any questions until then/Never go to prison because you are afraid to go to jail.

I have a Green Mountain bull barrel at home. I was hoping to have it fluted. It looks like I'm going to get a new fluted barrel and sell the old one.

I used to flute my own barrels. I decided it was silly. If you actually slug a bore you can all tell where it is fluted- however I haven't noticed an accuracy decline.

Kampfeld cutsoms is is a great option for someone to do it. I would trust him before Chad at LRI.
