    An hour ago I bought a USGI M1A trigger and it's an H&R on another site. I'll read through your link for future reference.

      Although I have a couple of extra GI trigger groups, I'm about to order newly made and highly rated trigger group parts. These are tool steel unlike the GI parts which are parkerized over a milder (softer) steel that really shouldn't be filed down. http://www.shootingsight.com
      Probably less expensive and seems to be fully adjustable.

        Thanks for posting. I probably wouldn't take it on but it looks like an interesting read.

          The M14 H&R Trigger assembly enroute to me has recently been reparkerized so I might have to use the link and give it a go.
