https://youtu.be/Fv13NmAiSCM - TFB Review with James of the Wilson Combat AR9g (G stands for Glock mag variant)
For those not wanting to watch the whole thing, some highlights:
1. Rifle costs 2k or 2.1k for a fluted barrel, eventually will come in Glock, Beretta, or M&P variants
2. Rifle comes with no sights of any kind.
3. Uses a proprietary bolt & barrel to increase feed reliability (this is relevant lower down)
4. James loads some Wolf 115gr and gets light primer strikes - not unusual on steel, but you expect 2k rifle to eat dirt if you feed it
5. Loads some PMC 124gr brass and gets light strikes, as well as double fires and feeds
6. Sends the gun to Wilson to fix.
7. He gets it back with 100 rounds of Wilson's own ammo and a note saying don't run steel.
8. Of the 100 rounds, on the 2nd shot is a light primer strike, other multiple light primer hits, and even a stovepipe.
9. As if to emphasize how poor the gun was operating, on one of the last mags used he gets a double fire from Wilson's own ammo.
I have never seen a reviewer get so mad at a gun before. You could tell he wanted to call this gun a 2k piece of shit so bad. For half the price I think I will build my own. Again proprietary bolt and barrel to INCREASE feed reliability.
Tl;dr gun is 2k POS that light strikes even on match ammo
