DP-12 Double Barrel Pump Action 12 Gauge Shotgun

This shotgun is not new but I just stumbled upon it.

In case you were previously afraid of shooting your hand off, you now have twice the reason to be afraid.

Ditto. I saw it and was tempted. Have wanted one for months.

I've wanted one of these for a while. If for no reason other than it will make a liberal furious.. How does the magazine capacity issue work in oppressed states? Or maybe better asked, what is the general consensus of legality? The magazines hold 14 in total but its split up between two separate and distinct magazines of 7 each..

Magazine capacity and evil features are two different things. You can't have a magazine with a capacity greater than 10 rounds regardless of the type of firearm it is meant for. In this situation the firearm has the capacity to hold 14 rounds between it's two fixed magazines, 7 in each. Does the law care that the 14 round are kept in two separate magazine on the same firearm? Or does it just see a shotgun with a magazine capacity greater than 10 rounds and determine it to be illegal?

My question is somewhat rhetorical because we know NYS will never have the decency to issue an official determination. They would rather their citizens be entrapped by vague and unclear laws and let them get run through the system.

Shooting it was nice. Very solid and extremely well made. Cycling seemed a tad sticky but maybe it just needs to be run wet. I'd need to be able to fondle it at length.

Its a little pricey and I just dont think its my cup of tea. But its pretty neat. If it really appealed to me Id get one.

It does matter. I was in a reputable LGS who spoke to the State Police who said that they would consider the UTAS to be a problem as the ability to alternately feed rounds from both tubs. The KSG by contrast could only feed from one mag as a time and is therefore g2g
