Just got done doing a whole bunch of work/parts swapping on my AR, and it was under gassed. Think I found the problem, and wanted to test it. Off to Freeport I go. I get there, and see a couple of instructors setting up, and ask how long they'll be. Just my luck, it's 1130, and they won't be done until 1500 or so.
LSS, they let me cut into their set up time to run a few rounds of Tula through it. I figure if it runs with Russian steel case ammo, it will run on anything. Which it did.
Very friendly, sociable guys. "That's a NY compliant one, huh?" Talked AR's and handgun comps for a few.
Word of advice: Just because a part is new, and US made, doesn't mean it's good. But that's for another thread.
Doubt they will ever see this, but thank you gentlemen. It was much appreciated.
