SIG Sauer and 5.11 have teamed up to produce an original documentary series that aims to present the reality and demands placed on our modern law enforcement individuals. The Behind the Blue Line Documentary series will focus on the Manchester, New Hampshire Police department, and their daily duties.

“The goal of our project was to give the public a greater appreciation for life behind the badge today,” said 5.11’s Chief Marketing Officer, Debra Radcliff. “Watching these officers in action and learning about the challenges they face was a life-changing experience. We are honored to bring their stories to life.”

The official series has already gone live at insidetheblueline.com and will continue to be released across social media all of next week to help commemorate National Police Week.

“We are honored and excited to have partnered with 5.11 and the Manchester Police Department on this project,” said Tom Taylor, Chief Marketing Officer & Executive Vice President, Commercial Sales, SIG SAUER, Inc. “SIG SAUER and 5.11 are aligned in our core mission – to serve and support law enforcement and the defense community with our products – which unites us as brands. This was an extraordinary project, and in these unprecedented times, we have a heightened awareness for the sacrifices that are being made by the law enforcement community and thank them for their service.”

The series will be released across both SIG Sauer and 5.11’s social media pages and you can back the project and show your support with exclusive “Honor Those Who Serve” patches. Each patch sold has a portion of its proceeds donated to the National Law Enforcement Memorial Fund which is a non-profit dedicated to honoring our nation’s fallen officers. Each patch is $9.99 and they will be going on sale starting the week of May the 11th.

          Ancient history.

5.11 has been doing good work by hosting talks by preparedness and firearms instructors on Facebook. They haven't been bad. I watched one by Mike Glover on trauma first aid and one my Mike Panonne. All free on Facebook. They videos are saved on their page so you still should be able to check them out.
